Made by Hand - All of our sausages are handmade fresh on the premises by fully trained staff with years of experience making sausages.  Handmade sausages may also be an irregular shape; this is not uncommon and should be viewed as an attribute not a defect.

Top Quality Ingredients - We only use the finest cuts of local pork. We also only use natural skins because they give the best flavour and this can account for the variation in appearance that we sometimes get.

Lilwalls Pork - With excellent stock from Richard Lilwall's farm near Bawdswell, the quality of this pork is evident in the cuts that can be seen in the shop. We believe that to make good sausages you have to start with good pork!

British Sausage Week - To celebrate the nation's favourite, each year we feature a large range of varieties during British Sausage Week with some of the examples below.  Because they prove so popular, we also have a selection of sausages in stock year round so don't hesitate to ask.  We can also cater for those who need a gluten free alternative.

Varieties of Sausages

Regular Favourites - These flavours are available each week and are suitable for freezing.
Traditional Pork Sausages - Thick & juicy with a salt & pepper seasoning.
Traditional Pork Chipolatas - Same as the sausages but in the thinner skins.
Country Pork Sausages - A delicate blend of herbs which is our second most popular seasoning.
